Our room was spacious, with a new bathroom and the biggest bed I've ever seen which was as comfortable as it looked. Stayed here while on a hillwalking course locally. I just wanted to send positive feedback as Ive made a few calls about booking recently - wanting to find a nice quiet room, book dinner, that sort of thing. We have enjoyed eating her on several occasions. Great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant (which has super views of the Grindleford hills). I have to give a special mention to Travis who looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble for him. Both were excellent. Me and my partner arrived at short notice with little knowledge of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. I had turkey for my main course which was delicious. The food was excellent. Super lunch in the garden, very busy which was great to see. It was superb, and the beef brisket in particular was delicious! We cant wait to come back. The staff were excellent (Arron served us). We have a wide range of premium bedrooms of all sizes for a perfect nights sleep. The food and service was excellent. Our dog gives it the thumbs up too as she was totally chilled and got lot lots of fuss.
